SEAoNY SE Licensure Committee invites you
to a special virtual Town Hall
The SE Licensure Committee is responsible for strategic planning towards the implementation of an SE Practice Act in New York. The committee is recommending a partial practice act for SE Licensure. This will regulate the use of the title “structural engineer” or “SE” and the provision of structural engineering services for certain types of structures.
Following the survey in August of 2020, the committee would like to invite you to a virtual Town Hall, which will include:
- Brief presentation about proposed licensing requirements and partial practice restriction
- Survey results and typical concerns expressed by members
- Open forum for participant questions
