Join the SEAoNY's Young Member Group for a virtual steel mill tour led by Steve Rys. Attendees will be able to virtually visit a steel plant and discover all things related to steel production. The presentation will be an interactive virtual reality experience and experience the fabrication process of steel members and learn about the machinery equipment that makes it all happen.

After the event, join the SEAoNY YMG Group at a local bar for happy hour. First round of drinks are on us!

Speaker Bio: Steve Rys, P.E. is a Buildings Solution Specialist at Nucor Corporation. Steve implements his experience and technical knowledge to develop practical and cost saving measures to steel framed projects.

Prior to joining Nucor, Steve worked as a structural engineer for the WSP New York Office for over 7 years in the design of high rise structures. Steve received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Syracuse University and his Masters of Engineering Degree in Structural Engineering from Cornell University.
