1. October 20 | Bridge Structures Walking Tour – 3:00–5:00 PM

   Join students from NYU, Cooper Union, and CCNY for a walking tour focused on bridge structures. We’re looking for SEAoNY members to join the students, share their engineering perspective, and help lead discussions along the way.

2. October 24 | AECI High School – Oculus / Engineers at Ground Zero

   Join AECI High School students for a visit to the Oculus following an in-school screening of Engineers at Ground Zero. SEAoNY volunteers will have the opportunity to speak with students about the film, share their perspectives and experiences as engineers, answer questions, and participate in small-group conversations.

3. Rolling | Cooper Union Guest Speaker Opportunities

   We’re looking for SEAoNY members interested in participating as guest speakers for Cooper Union’s SEAoNY Student Chapter. Volunteers can share their professional experiences, projects, technical expertise, or career paths with students. 4. November–December | AECI High School – Neighborhood Restoration Mentoring

   Help AECI engineering students develop their Neighborhood Restoration projects through classroom mentoring sessions with practicing engineers. Volunteers will provide feedback, answer questions, and share their professional perspective as students develop their projects. Visits will be scheduled based on volunteer and classroom availability.
