04.15.12: City of Dreams Pavilion 2012-2013
SEAoNY has teamed with FIGMENT and the Emerging New York Architects Committee (ENYA) of the American Institute of Architects NYC Chapter (AIANYC) to host a competition to design and construct an architectural pavilion on Governors Island, the City of Dreams Pavilion. The 2012 City of Dreams Pavilion competition registration deadline has been extended to April 15!

The Codes & Standards Committee requests recommendations for improvements to the NYC Building Code. Members are encouraged to send specific suggestions by December 1 to: codes@seaony.org.

03.22.12: ICE Americas Convention 2012 - The Challenges of Urbanization
The third ICE Americas Convention will take place in New York City, 22nd - 24th March 2012. The Convention is intended to provide a forum for knowledge sharing, discussion and networking, bringing together engineers from across the
region and is open to both ICE members and non-members. Delegates will be able to meet, interact and network with both local and international industry leaders and to observe the latest developments in the reconstruction of the World Trade Center site.
